DRAIMAR operates two 200 tonne Jack-up platforms, Caponta and Caponta II, that can operate in water depths up to 22 metres and 19 metres respectively. They are available on a crew provided charter basis to act as a platform for site investigation and drilling.
The Jack-up platforms perform soil investigation and ground studies associated with the engineering design of maritime structures. DRAIMAR operates various tugs to move these platforms from one location to another and to take personnel and materials to and from the shore, and are provided as part of the package. Bottom bed sampling works and soil cores associated with the engineering design of maritime structures are also undertaken.
