We source lateral, cardinal, isolated danger, safe water, special marks and emergency wreck buoys that comply with International regulations and local needs from several manufacturing companies.
The Navigation Aids division assembles these units and secures them. Distinctive flashing sequences are introduced and sinkers and chains are provided to match the required anchor depths. Aids are positioned in their designated locations using our fleet of tug boats.
DRAIMAR has installed over 100 navigation buoys along the coast of Angola over the past two years and the division provides station cleaning, examination and maintenance of those buoys. Shore based refurbishment and repair facilities are provided, and replacement units will always be available on an ongoing basis.
