DRAIMAR’s Marine Engineering Division designs and constructs steel sheet piling and concrete structures to form quay walls, inset docks, and tubular piling to form dolphins for berthing of vessels and foundations for steel framed buildings.
All construction is performed using DRAIMAR’s equipment while the design works are performed in tandem with partner companies based in the United Kingdom. We co-ordinate with our specialist engineers in the field of geotechnical design, hydrographic modelling, structural design, electrical and mechanical design and maritime construction.
This division is also concerned with the protection of slopes subject to tidal erosion. This protection generally comes in the form of geotextile fabric mattresses and tubes filled with granular spoil and is often obtained from adjacent dredging operations.
