The “Quissanga” is a modern Cutter Suction Dredger commissioned in 2007 that operates in sheltered coastal waters or in-land waterways and is capable of dredging muds, silts and sands to depths of 20m. The vessel’s design is ideally suited to cleaning and deepening existing Ports, creating navigation channels or performing large land reclamation projects. Material can be pumped ashore or to the point of discharge through floating and land pipelines depending on the requirements of the projects undertaken.
