The “Macoco” is a modern Jet Suction Dredger commissioned in 2011 that operates in sheltered coastal waters or inland waterways and is capable of dredging muds, silts and sands to depths of 5.5m. The vessel’s design is ideally suited to performing small scale dredging projects to deepen marinas or inland waterways, to create channels through inaccessible areas, or to perform localised land reclamation works. The vessel is capable of dredging areas underneath floating jetties, and marina walkways, with minimal disruption to on-going operational use of the facilities.
