This division acts as the Angolan agents of the floating jetty manufacturers Solent Marine, based in the United Kingdom. Solent Marine supplies high-quality marine jetties, walkways and access bridges which are installed on-site by DRAIMAR.
Projects are studied on a site specific basis, making use of DRAIMAR’s survey and harbour design divisions to perform hydrographic and topographic surveys and to study wave and current conditions on-site to provide jetties. DRAIMAR makes use of Solent Marine’s easy-to-use modular Simbro floating jetty system to supply jetty layouts that are flexible and can be altered at a later date. The jetties are typically fixed in position by piling works performed by DRAIMAR’s Marine Engineering Division.
